Knollwood Remodel in Austin Home!

Pick up the latest issue of Austin Home and see our Knollwood Remodel project featured on the cover! The article, À La Mode, focuses on local restaurant owner and chef, Larry Perdido, and his extensive and impressive collection of mod furnishings. Check out the project on our website to see how architect Bob Wetmore was able to design the home to stay true to its mid-century integrity while creating a livable home to showcase the Perdidos' museum-quality decor.

Westlake High School Career Day

Thursday morning we had the pleasure of hosting a group of students from Westlake High School! We were excited to take them on a tour of our office and talk to them about the world of architecture. They learned about the design process from Ranjit, got a quick tutorial on AutoCAD with Brian, gained insight on the architectural education path with Pam, discussed 3D rendering development with Jacob, and finally toured a residential project under construction with Mark. It is always rewarding and inspiring for us to visit with young people who share the same passion as we do!

Halloween Costume Contest Results...

Each year, here at Cornerstone, we like to engage in a little friendly competition on Halloween...well, the most creative of us do anyway. This year we had Top Gun's beloved Goose, a Jack(Pam)-in-the-Box, superhero Plan Man, a Texas Ranger, and Mr. Beer Pong. After the votes were tallied, Chris AKA Mr. Beer Pong took first place! Second place went to Pam-in-the-Box, and Jack and his aviators came in third. It was a fun way to kick off the week!
